Welcome to Mrs. Smith's School Psychology Webpage!
Thanks for visiting my site! I created this website as a resource for parents and school staff. I currently serve Douglas Elementary and Green Elementary in Wake County. Please feel free to contact me for more information or to discuss specific questions or concerns that you may have.
What does a school psychologist do?
My responsibilities as a school psychologist include helping children succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. I collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school, and the community for all students In general, a school psychologist is someone who specializes in learning, and more specifically, what prevents children from learning to their fullest potential.
